Hey there, it’s me, Amanda. I’m an avid reader and cheerleader within the bookish community, focusing mainly on hyping up indie authors, businesses, friends, and books I can't stop thinking about. I love that my bookstagram and small business allow for me to flex my creative side, and I have so much fun interacting with new friends and authors every day. My favorite book series is The Kindred's Curse saga by Penn Cole, and my favorite activity is pretending I can read all the books on my TBR.​

Bookish Laboratory was inspired by my falling in love with so many indie authors who didn’t already have merch created for them. Rather than asking around to friends and begging their existing shops to create the merch, I decided to take matters into my own hands. "It can't be that hard" are some famous last words, but I wouldn't trade this blood, sweat, and tears for anything. My ultimate goal is spreading joy and hope as I'm inspired by the worlds and characters of my favorite authors, and I hope you feel a bit of that joy and hope in the merch I create.
